Pauline Trintignant was a French actress who was born on May 1, 1962, in Boulogne-Billancourt, France. She was the daughter of French film director and screenwriter Nadine Trintignant and French actor Jean-Louis Trintignant. Pauline Trintignant began her acting career in 1982 and quickly gained recognition for her work in French cinema. She appeared in numerous films, including "L'été prochain" (1985), "L'ombre sur la plage" (1988), and "Un coeur en hiver" (1992). In 2003, she was tragically killed by her boyfriend, the French singer Bertrand Cantat, in a highly publicized case that brought attention to domestic violence.
